From the time I was a little girl in Peru I was fascinated with different forms of art: sculpture, animation, life drawing, and painting.

For the last few years I have been focusing my creativity on acrylic and ink.

​

I tend to use dark ink lines and brush strokes which evoke organic forms in the body and in nature. You could be looking at seaweed, capillaries, or the wing of a butterfly. It feels like I am reaching for the graceful oneness of life in all of its complexity and strangeness.

The dark lines and luminous colors are like looking through a stained-glass window.

The abstract compositions are arrived at through a stream of consciousness, a meditation without words.
